to your tutoring appointment please let me know 24 hours in advance.
I allow everyone one "free
pass" for emergencies or no-shows. I realize that things come up and
that life can be disorganized so I understand that there will be times
that students won't be able to come. You can use the "free pass" for
either a no-show or a same-day cancellation. The second time there is a
no-show or a same-day cancellation I will need to charge you - half my
hourly
rate for a same-day cancellation, and full rate for a no-show.
Occasionally
I have students say they don't need to come that day because they have
no homework. Even if the student doesn't have homework then we can
still review their material. We can also use that time to do
standardized test prep for the PSAT, ACT, or SAT. If you get to the
point where the student doesn't feel like they need tutoring anymore
then of course that is just fine! There is no need for them to hold on
to a time slot. Just let me know.
